A Tribute to Breaking Bad!

The infamous RV from the series Breaking Bad - the best series ever! The 'RV' is recognizable to anyone who has watched the series. This vehicle act as a 'portable lab' for Mr. White and Jesse for manufacturing meth. For those who haven't watched the series it, seriously guys, it's lotta fun!

Rigging in Blender - The Learning Path

Blender has a lot of learning resources spread over the internet. There is no 'we teach you everything' site or book for learning Blender. The biggest problem is that you search for a feature, you get almost a million hits. You don't know where to start or how to approach it. There is no 'single way' to do it either. After learning each new feature in blender, I always wished if someone could have told me where to go and what to learn first, the learning would have been much faster and easier rather than going through the multitude of tutorials.

I am doing right that! Here's the learning path I used to learn rigging in blender! Hope it turns out to be helpful to someone. You can also choose according to the skill you want to learn!

1. The BBB rigging tutorial by Ben Danise cover almost every beginner stuffs and even a few advanced stuffs too. BBB Rigging tutorial by Ben Dansie.

2. So now you know how to rig a body in blender. Time to move on to the face. Here is an interesting, yet simple tutorial on rigging a face by the very famous David Ward:

3. After the BBB rigging tutorial and the face rigging tutorial, I found that in Blender 2.5+, you needn't rig a character manually. A script does it for you! Rigify Blender Plugin tutorial by Cessen comes next.

4. Now if that's over, you could go ahead and learn how to make a human meta-rig, more efficient by taking a look at a tutorial by Dennis Fett: Part 1, Part 2.

5. Time to go the easy way now:D! In this next tutorial you learn how to 'lend' other rigs to rig your character! I don't know if this tutorial is available as video on the internet. This comes with 'Learn Character Animation in Blender' tutorial DVD, lesson: "Get in Role, about rigging". Really helpful! Here's the link to it's page in Blender Store. (hint: Search for places to download it if you're broke! :D)

6. Time to go pro! Here's a 6 part leg rigging tutorial from Erick. You'll also find a lot of other advanced rigging tutorials in his youtube profile! (Part2 to part6 could be found in his profile!).

Go ahead! Trust me. Learning rigging in Blender is much easier this way.
I may have missed a few other helpful tutorials. If I did miss something very important, do comment! Also, if you need such 'Learning Paths' on other Blender features, ask! Happy Blending!
